Welcome to the 15^th Canadian Powder diffraction workshop. This year, the workshop will be a hybrid event where lectures are offered virtually and software tutorials are offered both virtually and in-person. The workshop sessions will cover the basic theory of powder diffraction, experimental setups, sample preparation and data analysis. Various software programs will be introduced during the presentations and used in the afternoon’s practical sessions.

The workshop is designed for students, postdocs and practitioners who would benefit from an improved understanding of the basic theory and practice of powder and 2D diffraction for analyzing materials.
